Semester of Service Programs
We are offering Semester of Service programs that connect students with a partnering community organization for 7 to 12 weeks. Our SOS opportunities allow students to gain a deeper understanding of the value of the service they are giving their time and energy to, and the lasting impact it can have on others.
Day of Service Events
We are also offering Day of Service events throughout the academic school year for students to serve with different organizations each month. Our events are student lead by Ambassadors and Leaders, who plan and implement service opportunities through partnering with community organizations and recruiting student volunteers. These opportunities are expanded during Alternative Break for a week long service project at different locations in the community.
Upcoming Day of Service Opportunities:
Children's Literacy Kit Assembly — Description: Assemble literacy kits for graduating preschoolers and write graduation notes with us in the University Library! | Monday, July 15, 2024 from 11 AM–1 PM.
Summer Camp Kids Stations — Description: Volunteer to help run hands-on activity stations for a local summer childcare program; grades TK-6th! | Bancroft Elementary School on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 10 AM–12 PM.
