About SIRIUS II
The Expanded Sustainable Interdisciplinary Research to Inspire Undergraduate Success (SIRIUS II) Project aims to provide interdisciplinary authentic learning experiences (ALEs) to STEM students across 67 courses at five institutions in the Sacramento Region. This builds on the SIRIUS Project which focused on providing course-based research experiences to Sacramento State students majoring in Biological Sciences.
The SIRIUS II Project trains and supports faculty in the design and implementation of ALEs in STEM courses through summer institutes and a multi-year faculty learning community.
The SIRIUS II Project is supported by the National Science Foundation Improving Undergraduate STEM Education Award #2012891.
