About Facilities Management
Facilities Management is the steward for the University buildings, physical infrastructure, grounds, and landscape. We perform maintenance and renovation of facilities; plan and manage new construction; support University initiatives though our commitment to building a welcoming campus which covers over 50 buildings on 616 acres; and by creating a dynamic physical environment for students, faculty, staff, and the community.
Facilities Management is divided into six departments:
- Planning, Design and Construction
- Administrative Services
- Grounds and Custodian Operations
- Facility and Central Plant Operations
- Space Management
- Sac State Sustainability
