Sac State has established an emergency fund designed to provide short-term financial support for eligible employees who are faced with a temporary economic hardship. Grants are awarded up to $1,000 based on need, and do not need to be repaid.
Financial Planning with Fidelity
Employees are offered the opportunity to work with Fidelity Investments on creating retirement savings plans. Fidelity representatives visit Sac State to provide one-on-one investment counseling.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer. Under this program, CSU employees may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance due to their Direct Loan Program loans if they meet the criteria of the program.
Program information is available on the Department of Education's Federal Student Aid website.
Please refer to the Verification of Employment page for the process to submit an online
PSLF request. Once employment has been verified, the U.S. Department of Education reviews the application and determines qualification for the PSLF Program.
