Important Dates for Fall & Spring

| November 8, 2024 | Spring 2025 registration appointments viewable in Student Center |
| November 18, 2024 | Spring 2025 registration for continuing students begins. Registration appointments are assigned in order of class level priority. |
| January 15, 2025 | Spring 2025 Semester Begins (Faculty) |
| January 15-17, 2025 | University-wide and/or College Meetings (Academic Workdays) |
| January 20, 2025 | Spring 2025 All waitlists eliminated. When waitlists are deleted, you will no longer see waitlisted courses in the Student Center. Students should retain course and instructor information for any waitlisted class(es) to "crash" the course. |
| January 20, 2025 | Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Holiday, Campus Closed) |
| January 20, 2025 | Spring 2025 Deadline to withdraw and receive a full refund of fees (Semester Withdrawal Form must be submitted) |
| January 21, 2025 | Spring 2025 Instruction Begins |
| January 21-31, 2025 | Spring 2025 Late Registration and Schedule Adjustment. During this time, you retain access to add and drop courses through your Student Center. If instructor or department permission is required to add or drop a course, the Add/Drop Petition (OnBase form) must be used. If adding from 0 units, must prepay. |
| February 1-17, 2025 | Spring 2025 Late Registration and Change of Schedule completed by Add/Drop petition (OnBase form) at departments. If adding from 0 units, must prepay. |
| February 17, 2025 | Spring 2025 Census Date - Last day to drop a class without receiving a "W" |
| March 31-April 4, 2025 | Spring Break (Students and Faculty only) |
| March 31, 2025 | Cesar Chavez Birthday Observed (Holiday, Campus Closed) |
| April 18, 2025 | Last day to withdraw or drop courses* |
