IMPACT Fellows
The IMPACT Fellow Program (Interns Making Possible Anchor Community Transformation), hosted by Anchor University and the Career Center at Sacramento State, offers paid summer internship opportunities to low-income students. These internship opportunities foster students’ development of leadership skills, civic responsibility, and professional growth, while also supporting the efforts of Anchor University community partners.
The IMPACT Fellows Program aligns with the University’s strategic imperatives:
- Strategic Activity #17 – Coordination of community engagement
- Strategic Activity #18 – Increase students participate in a paid or credit internship
All students eligible for student employment can apply!
- Students graduating the spring semester
- Undocumented students with work eligibility
- Postbac students (Masters, EDD, etc.)
All students eligible for student employment can apply! Learn how to apply and meet some of the internship site hosts at the info session who are offering various opportunities working with youth, conducting community outreach events, helping small businesses, creating livable neighborhoods, increasing civic participation, helping people access healthy food, and much, much more!
Applications to participate in the 2024 Impact Fellows Student Program are due by Sunday, June 9, 2024, at midnight.
