Transgender Awareness Week
November 13 - 19
Transgender Awareness Week is a one-week celebration leading up to the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th, which memorializes victims of transphobic violence. The PRIDE Center aims to provide information about trans people for others to educate themselves with credible resources about community, language, issues, stories, and actions.
