About High School Equivalency Program
About HEP
The Sacramento State High School Equivalency Program (HEP) assists migrant and seasonal agricultural workers in completing their high school education. This is one of fifty federally funded programs nationwide. HEP also helps individuals over the age of 18 obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma. Additionally, this program prepares students for higher levels of education or training, and assists with the transition from school to jobs. HEP prioritizes supporting students gaining employment at jobs that are more stable and have a higher earning potential.
