About Women of Color Collective
About the Women of Color Collective
Building on the efforts of Women of Color groups at other sister CSU campuses, the current Women of Color Collective at Sacramento State aims to create a safe community for Women of Color faculty on campus. The group will foster a sense of trust and belonging for Women of Color faculty, provide resources and support for Women of Color faculty to thrive in academia, encourage and support scholarly endeavors, promote women of color faculty’s well-being, and problem solve issues on campus that serve as barriers to success for Women of Color faculty. This aim is in line with institutional efforts to address antiracism and inclusion by working to recruit, retain, and uplift Women of Color faculty.
