About CSU ASAP
The California State University Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Student Achievement Program (CSU ASAP) was authorized by the California Education Code Section 89297.1 in 2022. The legislation provides for $8 million in ongoing funding for culturally responsive services to enhance student educational experiences and promote higher education success for low-income, underserved, and first-generation AANHPI students and other underrepresented students. A similar program was also established at the California Community Colleges.
