Spring 2024 Honoree Spotlight

Harvey Woo- Police Services and Belonging and Bridging Facilitator for APIDA community. Harvey has gone beyond his role within UPD to ensure that all students, staff, and faculty are served in an equitable and compassionate way. He has been in plain clothes at multiple equity-center programs and has worked to create environments where police officers are seen as partners to and supports of underserved communities. – Christina Lofthouse

Jose (Humphrey) Meseguer-Community Service Officer has served to create a respectful and equitable campus environment. He was instrumental in the work on the AICP and exemplifies all the values and practices of creating an environment where all belong. He has trained and supported other CSOs in high impact practices for ensuring all feel valued, supported and welcomed at the campus. His smile is infectious. – Jeffrey Reinl

Rheena Munoz- President’s Office has worked tirelessly to ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion lives on this campus. She has supported multiple initiatives from the One Book to her current work staffing the Taskforces on Addressing Antisemitism and Islamophobia.
