Regional Transit Commuter Sleeve

Sacramento Regional Transit (RT) services the Greater Sacramento Area and has several buses that arrive at and depart from Sac State throughout the day.

Students may ride all RT fixed-route transit services, including light rail, by presenting a valid Sac State OneCard and the student commuter sleeve. Students pay a nominal fee for this service through their registration fees.

Sac State employees may ride all RT fixed-route transit services, including light rail, by presenting a valid Sac State OneCard and the employee commuter sleeve. Employees may purchase a 6-month employee commuter sleeve for $40 for the periods January 1-June 30 and July 1-December 31.

Students:

  • Visit the Bursar's Office in Lassen Hall
  • Visit the UTAPS Office in the Welcome Center
  • Order online here to have it mailed the next business day. Log-in using your SacLink account, click on Get Permits and select the option for a commuter sleeve. Verify your address or enter the address where you would like the sleeve mailed and finish transaction.

Employees:

  • Visit the UTAPS Office in the Welcome Center
  • Order online here to have it mailed the next business day. Log-in using your SacLink account. Click Next. Select the option for a commuter sleeve and click Next. Verify your address or enter the address where you would like the sleeve mailed and click Next. Click on Pay Now and finish transaction.
