Western University was founded in 1878 and is one of Canada’s oldest and most beautiful universities enrolling today about 38,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The city's laid-back atmosphere is highlighted by an extensive trail system that runs along the Thames River, right onto Western’s campus, and is a scenic place for walking, running, biking, or inline skating. London is set in the heart of Southwestern Ontario and experiences four distinct seasons, ranging from hot, breezy summers to colorful autumns to crisp, snowy winters to refreshing springs.
