University of Technology, Sydney is a public university with over 30,500 students. The university has two campuses: the main City Campus with sites at Broadway, Haymarket, and Blackfriars; and the Kuring-gai Campus at Eton Road in Lindfield (a bushland setting about a 20-minute ride by public transport from the City Campus). Sydney is the largest city in Australia with a population of over four million and offers a wide variety of entertainment, shopping, and sightseeing. The city has a magnificent harbor and an abundance of beaches and is arguably one of the most attractive cities in the world.

Academic Eligibility

  • 2.6 GPA or higher at the time of application
  • One semester completed at Sacramento State prior to departure
  • Sophomore or higher standing (30+ units completed)

Housing Options

You may apply for on-campus UTS Housing or find your own. Study Abroad and Exchange students are given priority placement for housing if you apply by the set deadline for each session. You will be sent these instructions with your acknowledgement of application at the start of the application process.

On Campus

UTS offers affordable accommodation options to suit a wide range of requirements. All options are self-catered and close to supermarkets, restaurants and services.

Options:

  • share apartments – two, three, four, six, seven, eight, nine-bedroom apartments with a common living room, kitchen and bathroom facilities, or
  • studio apartments – a self-contained area including bedroom, bathroom and kitchen facilities.
