Week 7 Homework;
1. Read and study Chapter 5: Using Scoring Rubrics to Support Learning. Quiz 3 in class next week. Be prepared to evaulate a rubric (new to you) using criteria presented in this chapter.
2. Lesson Plan
- Use peer feedback to revise your PowerPoint (presentation) lesson. Share with reviewer: Professor by next week.
- Begin a draft of your "searching the internet" lesson in the Taskstream
lesson builder (standard form). Thing to consider while constructing this
lesson (November page 61).
- At the beginning of week 9 you will have a peer review in class.
- The purpose of this lesson is to teach children how to use the Internet effectively, efficiently, safely
and to be able to evaluate web sites. The lesson may focus on the web in general
or using email for communication. It may or may not be related to your unit.
You may use the powerpoint or not within the lesson itself.
3. Discussion Board:
- Select any pre-made rubric in Tasksteam rubric builder. Give the title of the rubric and evaluate the rubric itself. What are its strengths? What suggestions for improvement would you make for the rubric?
