Description

Problem Solving and Project Development

Students will focus on integrating curriculum, equity, and/or staff
development strands into an overall educational technology implementation
strategy. Complex problem-solving techniques, research, distributed
learning, methodology, and evaluation will be emphasized.

Grading:

Grading will be based on attendance and contributions during f2f and virtual meetings as well as on participation in Phorum activities.  Assessment of the website project will be a significant part of student evaluations.

There is also a strong connection between this course and other iMET courses.  "Problem Solving and Project Development" is the last of the iMET strategy courses, and it draws heavily on previous understandings.  To succeed in this course, students need to continue to read widely, particularly in connection with areas of focus identified as potential action research projects.  Collaboration with other iMET students is strongly encouraged especially where future research activities are concerned.
