7:00 Arrival and greetings (Time for bantering)

7:15 Check-in

7:25 - 8: 25 Q & A

You have read Modules 1 - 3 and chapters 1, 3 and 4, p. 29 only &  Chap. 5 pp. 37-84 in the  research text presented on the schedule.  Tonight you will design and discuss quantitative research designs.  Each small group (see groups below) will apply a research design to a problem statement. We recommend that you use a problem statement that someone has already  come up with, though you are welcome to develop one just for this exercise if you want. Each group must develop its description, and then post it and present to the whole class.

Geni will drop by each of the four discussion groups and comment, but feel free to page her with questions during your discussions.

Below are the four groups for the evening with assigned roles below selected names. Discussions will be held in rooms indicated.   Facilitators will need to make sure there are taskmasters, timekeepers and recorders for the groups.  There is a Phorum called Research iMET3 for your posts. Recorders, you may create a thread on that Phorum with an appropriate heading (For example: Oak Room: Causal comparative design) to post your designs for all to comment.

Refer to a previous agenda for images of the iMET Cubes.
