There are two assignments for this week.
This is the week to upload your WebQuest and submit to Bernie Dodge.
You will find a document called Reflection_Scaffold.doc in the Portfolio directory on the iMET Server. This is a three-page Word document that provides you with a scaffold for your first of four reflections as you refine selected portfolio artifacts and place them in the Content section of your portfolio. You'll need to use this format at least once. Following that, you may elect to modify the format or devise another format that addresses the established review criteria.
The Reflection_Scaffold document is only meant to be a support tool that gets you started on the reviewing, reflecting, revising process. It leaves room for your decisions as to how you might adjust to this process. That's what a scaffold is. You use it when you need it.
There is quite a bit of literature on the subject of reflecting and composing. I have been working on a review of literature for the past few weeks (See, I have to do that, too.) as well as a Human Subjects Protocol that addresses a hypothetical proposal for a small research project. Included in that protocol is a brief portion of the literature review on the topic of reflecting and composing. I have also placed that protocol review in the Portfolio directory.
For your Phorum assignment for this week, you don't actually need to use the Phorum.
