History

We were founded in 1985 as the CSUS Emeritus Association, with the endorsement of then President Don Gerth, who is currently a member of the association. Initially a faculty group, we now welcome retired faculty, staff and administrators. The association originated campus policies for retiree rights and privileges that are still in effect today.
