Homecoming Food Drive

All donations benefit the ASI Food Pantry. Monetary donations welcome in addition to select food products. Drop-off times will be Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Harper Alumni Center, or at the Homecoming Festival on Saturday, October 19 from 3 - 6 p.m.

Our campus community’s visual representations of why we vote, participate in politics, and engage in our communities. This interactive exhibit asks viewers to consider others’ reasons and then share their own reasons for participating in politics and their communities. Don't Mind If I Do

Don’t mind if I do is an experiment in more deeply collaborative exhibition-making, demonstrating how even temporary changes in power structures create pathways of access. Rail to Trail Bike Ride

Start at Peak Adventures, Sacramento State
Join bike expert Noah on a bike trip from Sac State! Get to see some lovely autumn weather, meet some cool people, and learn how to traverse around the local trails and public transit system! Ride includes public transit tickets and bike guides. Bikes are also included, if needed.
Sunset Paddle

Sac State Aquatic Center, Lake Natoma
Come join us for a beautiful sunset on Lake Natoma and the rise of a full moon. Gently paddling on the waters of Lake Natoma serves as an escape from the rigors of the day. All paddling abilities are welcome. The kayaks are self-bailing so be prepared to get a little wet.

Homecoming Festival & Football Game

All University faculty, staff and their families are invited to the Homecoming Festival and football game Saturday, Oct. 19, when the Hornets take on the Weber State Wildcats at 6 p.m. in Hornet Stadium. President Wood has made arrangements for all current and emeriti faculty and staff can reserve up to four (4) complimentary game tickets. Claim your tickets using the link below, login with your Sac State credentials, then select the 'Faculty/Staff' option (3rd one down).
We are also excited to offer all University faculty and staff a Sac State branded gift. The supply is limited and gifts will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. University Advancement will be distributing them at the Homecoming Festival from 3:00-5:30 p.m. or as long as supplies last. Please bring your OneCard.

Cap Radio Garden Days

The Cap Radio Garden donates hundreds of pounds of food to the ASI Food Pantry each year, feeding over 2,000 students and families in need of fresh food. Please join us in this service-learning project to keep fresh food flowing onto campus.

Dance Marathon returns for its 2024 Silent Disco edition and is open to ALL students! KSSU DJs will be spinning tracks from your favorite genres, the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and the Student Alumni Association (SAA) will be serving mocktails, hosting games, and creating a cool kickback lounge area. Dancing, snacks, prizes, and fellow Hornets – what more do you need the night before the big Homecoming game? (Must have a valid Sac State student ID# to register; each student can bring one non-Sac State student guest.)

Golf Cart Parade
Deadline to enter: Checklist & Registration must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 9 @ 11:59 p.m.
Sac State's annual Homecoming Golf Cart Parade is coming back and bigger than ever! Sign up so that your golf cart can be JUDGED and for a chance to win the grand prize. Golf Cart Parade participants will take part in the Hornet Walk during the Homecoming Festival and loop around the track at halftime. Additional details about decorating are in the guidelines. Stingers Up!
Golf Cart Parade participants must complete and submit the Homecoming Driver Authorization Checklist materials (DUE: Wednesday, Oct. 9 @ 11:59 p.m.).
Use the Golf Cart Parade sign-up form to sign-up your organization or department and submit your Homecoming Driver Authorization documents. Participants will receive a confirmation email once their Authorization Packet is received.
