Get involved today
A great way to get involved is to serve on an Alumni Association committee. If you are interested in becoming involved in Association leadership, committee participation is an excellent start. Below is a description of our current committees. Let us know you are interested by submitting a Volunteer Interest Form and selecting the committee you're interested in.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for reviewing the financial affairs of the Association and reporting the financial condition of the Association to the Board on a quarterly basis. This includes analyzing each month’s financial statements, monitoring budget progress, reviewing the annual proposed budget, examining financial policies, and making recommendations to the Board on fiscal policy.

Membership Engagement Committee
The Membership Engagement Committee works to build a strong membership program and programming to engage members of the Alumni Association. In an effort to continue growing membership, retention will be a key focal point. The Committee also is responsible for oversight of membership marketing efforts and participation in sponsorship solicitation.

Networks & Chapters Engagement Committee
The Networks & Chapters Engagement Committee works to build strong networks and chapters to engage alumni in a meaningful way with the campus community, evaluates existing programs and creates new programs that will help grow and maintain the Alumni Association membership base. Assesses and makes recommendations around processes and policies that affect networks, chapters, and their programs.

Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is responsible for selecting from the regular active membership, candidates to fill the vacancies that are to occur on the Board of Directors or in any Officer position, due to expiration of the terms of office. The Nominating Committee submits to the Board a list of nominees for approval by a simple majority vote. The Committee consists of at least four (4) members, including the immediate past president, the president-elect and two or more members of the Association appointed by the chairperson with the approval of the president.

Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee is responsible for overseeing the annual Alumni Scholarship program. The Committee reviews plans for seeking applications, establishes selection criteria, evaluates applications and selects recipients for the available scholarships. The Committee also is responsible for increasing the funds available for scholarships.
