SOC 193B: SOC Circle Peer Mentor

Become a Peer Mentor in Sociology to build Academic and Professional Success

  • Prepares mentees to stay on track for graduation
  • Mentors are expected to provide mentees with support and guidance in their academic success
  • Connect mentees to the appropriate campus resources
  • Gain expereince in leadership, interpersonal communication skills, and helping others reach their academic goals

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior in Sociology major
  • Application/ Informal Interview
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Letter of Reference from an instructor at Sac State
