Disability Justice
Please join the School of Social Work for our 60th Anniversary Speaker Event: Weaving Disability Justice & Crip Cultures for Liberation, featuring disability justice advocate, community organizer, attorney and policy expert, Ly Xinzhen Zhangsun (Lydia X. Z. Brown).
Brown's work centers intersections of disability, queerness, race, gender, class, and nation and migration. They seek to end systemic and interpersonal violence towards multi-marginalized disability people through their work on multiple fronts; as an educator; as Director of Public Policy at the National Disability Institute; and through numerous creative and consulting projects.
