30 Years after the Genocide in Rwanda: Reflections from a Survivor
Join us for this free lecture!
The 1994 genocide in Rwanda claimed the lives of upwards of one million people. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the genocidal violence. This talk is an opportunity to reflect on resilience and survival. Please join the International Education Public Lecture Series in welcoming Father Leonard Kayondo to discuss his experience surviving the genocide.
Father Kayondo will share his own experience of not only survival but also the aftermath, and the struggles that some survivors still experience today, 30 years later.
