There are many advising resources available depending on your student status and advising needs. Check the categories below to find the best resources for you. Not sure who to see? Email Criminal Justice Advising for more assistance or call the Criminal Justice office (916-278-6487).
You will use the EAB Online Scheduler through your Student Center to schedule appointments with your major advisor or the Criminal Justice Advising Coordinator.

HHS Student Success Center
The College of Health and Human Services Student Success Center offers general education and major advising as well as faculty mentoring and career exploration. This is the place to go if you need immediate advising help and the Criminal Justice Advisors are not available. In-person and Zoom services are available.
General Education (GE) Advising
The Academic Advising Center offers G.E. and graduation requirement advising for all students. Appointments are required.

Peer Tutoring
The Peer & Academic Resource Center (PARC) provides peer tutoring and advising for multiple subjects to help promote student success. They also offer workships for academic and personal growth which can meet Leadership Initiative (LI) requirements.
The Writing Center
The Reading and Writing Center (aka The Writing Center) is where students can receive one-on-one assistance with their reading, writing, and research processes. This includes citation and evidence use, as well as, revising and editing their own work.
Math Tutoring
The Math Lab is a tutoring center designed to assist students enrolled in lower division mathematics and statistics courses. Students may use this facility on a drop-in basis.
