Health Hive: Enhancing Well-Bee-ing
The College of Health and Human Services' Health Hive is committed to providing community-based services to reduce health inequities and promote health and well-being in the local and greater Sacramento Region. The Health Hive is a mobile team of students, staff, and faculty who offer a variety of health care and community support services.
Examples of services the Health Hive team can offer include:
- Immunizations
- TB testing
- Hearing, speech and language, blood pressure, and diabetes screenings
- Physical Activities, Fitness Screening or Assessments, Sport & Recreation Lessons
- Information about domestic violence/interpersonal violence, sexual harm, and human trafficking including community resources
- Foot care
- Childhood literacy events
- Information about available community supports and resources available, assistance navigating benefit forms, and health and human services navigation
- Community listening sessions
- Information, presentations, and resources on variety of health/mental health topics
- And more!
