Athletes Interrupted

The Center for Health Practice, Policy & Research (CHPPR) is proud to announce their upcoming conference - Athletes Interrupted: The Science and Practice of Resilience & Well-Being for the Evolving Athlete.

Join Dave McGillivray, Director of the Boston Marathon, elite athlete, and motivational speaker, and a host of professional, recreational, and collegiate athletes for an inspiring day of insights and strategies for resilience, strength, and wellness in sports.

Explore athletes' successes, challenges, and resilience at every level.

Investigate powerful strategies for navigating adversity and trauma.

Participate in engaging conversations about leveraging strengths to overcome challenges in sports.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join sessions on topics such as:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury: Considerations and Consequences for Athletes
  • Youth Sport: Health, Wellness, and Balancing Parental Expectations
  • Adapted Athletics: Recognizing and Applying Strengths and Abilities
  • The Evolving Athlete: Life Beyond the Game

A certificate of attendance will be provided. Please keep it as proof of attendance. CHPPR does not seek pre-approval for continuing professional development. Contact your individual professional organization about eligibility for CEUs.
