Enroll in a PAL

Students should enroll in a PAL to perform better in their course, gain confidence with the material, and network with other students.

Which ECS courses have a PAL?

The following table gives the relationships between lecture courses and ECS PAL courses.

Lecture course PAL course Majors
CSC 15 CSC 15P Computer Science, Computer Engineering
CSC 20 CSC 20P Computer Science, Computer Engineering
EEE/CPE 64 EEE/CPE 64P Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering
ENGR 17 ENGR 17P Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
ENGR 30 ENGR 30P Civil & Mechanical Engineering
ENGR 110 ENGR 110P Civil & Mechanical Engineering
ENGR 112 ENGR 112P Civil & Mechanical Engineering

How to Enroll

To find PAL courses, students can search the MySacState Student Center or the public schedule. To enroll in PAL courses, students can enroll in the MySacState Student Center (instructions below) or show up to the first day of class with student ID.
