The Hornet Leadership Program is focused on providing meaningful curricular and co-curricular opportunities for students to apply their technical knowledge to practical problems in a team setting. A goal is to encourage students to develop skills that will transfer to their professional career as smoothly as their classroom skills do. Some of the HLP subjects include strategic thinking, strategic planning, conflict resolution, assertive communication, life-long learning, and ethics.
