Coinciding with National Engineer Week nationwide, the College of Engineering and Computer Science will be hosting its "ECS Week". Throughout the week, ECS will host a variety of events for our community of students, faculty, and staff to network and engage with one another. We hope to see you at our events!

Donuts with the Dean - Monday, February 19th

Head over to the Riverside Hall (RVR) lobby to chat with Dean Shafizadeh and enjoy a donut before class! He will talking with students from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. There will be free food.

ECS Lab Tours - Monday, February 19th & Friday, February 23rd

Explore all of the engineering labs and discover the projects that students are working on. Our guides can answer any questions you may have regarding the labs or available programs. Please meet in the breezeway between Riverside Hall (RVR) and the Tschannen Engineering Building (TEB). The tour on Monday will be from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, and Friday's tour will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

Industrial Panel - Tuesday, February 20th

Gain insights into job searching and valuable information from our industry panel professionals. You'll have the chance to hear about their experiences and ask questions at the end of the panel. This event is from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm in TEB 1217. There will be free food.

Tea with a Teacher - Tuesday, February 20th & Wednesday, February 21st

Take the opportunity to meet and learn from Dr. Zoi Dokou (CE) and Dr. Zahra Najafi (EEE) during our Tea with a Teacher events. Both sessions will take place in TEB 1217 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. You can meet Dr. Dokou on Tuesday, February 20th and Dr. Najafi on Wednesday, February 21st. Light refreshments will be provided.

ECS Welcome Event - Wednesday, February 21st

Connect with fellow ECS students, enjoy free pizza, and chat with ECS clubs and staff from the ECS Student Success Center. This event will take place from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.

Open to ECS students only.

ASCE Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day - Thursday, February 22nd

This event is for young girls interested in the engineering field. They can learn about STEM, participate in activities, and discover more about the field. The event is from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm in the University Union Ballroom.

ECS Internship and Career Fair - Friday, February 23rd

Visit the University Union Ballroom between 9:00 am - 2:00 pm to meet with employers and learn about their companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for job searching and securing a job.
