Program Requirements

To be a full member of MESA, students must complete the following requirements:

ONE-TIME REQUIREMENTS (first semester in MESA)

• Attend MESA workshop series and meet all workshop requirements.
• Attend mandatory counseling with MESA Advisor your first semester in the program.
• Attend one professional development workshop or event
• Join MESA sponsored club: NSBE, SHPE, SWE (pre-professional organizations consistent with MESA's mission) and fulfill all requirements as determined by officers of the organization.
• Maintain a term and cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

CONTINUOUS REQUIREMENTS (each semester while in MESA)*

• Attend 2 success workshops
• Attend mandatory counseling with MESA Advisor
• Attend one professional development workshop or event
• Join MESA sponsored club: NSBE, SHPE, SWE (pre-professional organizations consistent with MESA's mission) and fulfill all requirements as determined by officers of the organization.
• Maintain a term and cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

*Completion of these requirements must be met for students interested in priority registration
