Graduate Programs Rate Highly
While the CSU system may not have the prestige associated with big name Ivy League schools, one thing holds true year after year, quality instruction and training on a budget for the masses.
The city of Sacramento has been growing and changing over the years, to become not just a stop on the journey, but the destination. As Sacramento State pushes forward to not just keep up with its namesake, but lead the way with innovation in all areas, the focus has never been lost on providing top-notch education. The students of today become the leaders of tomorrow.
A recent US News And World Report ranks our graduate programs 4th in Education in California among programs with enrollments over 800. The ranking is based on a variety of weighted factors including quality assessment, student selectivity, faculty resources, and research activity. US News surveyed over 1900 colleges across the nation to put together the rankings, with 393 colleges in just the field of Education.
A Good Deal for Teachers
One major factor not accounted for is cost, and the high value that a quality CSU education brings to the table. Educators tend not to pursue careers strictly for financial gain. Rather; teachers, counselors, administrators, and community leaders enter careers to make a positive difference in the lives of their community.
To help our leaders of tomorrow gain access to the training they need to advance their careers, Sacramento State strives to provide high-quality education on a teacher’s budget.
