Become a Language Host and Volunteer
Your task is to teach a couple of phrases/sentences that visitors would want to know. You can teach greetings, numbers, days of week, annual events and festivals, key phrases, etc. You have the opportunity to share your culture, bring cultural games, and provide any relevant information. The event staff will provide you with a white board, pen, and paper.
Please contact Dr. Kazue Masuyama (masuyama@csus.edu) or Dr. Viola Ardeni (viola.ardeni@csus.edu) if you are interested in volunteering or have any question. Also, visit the World Language Day website for more details!
