Lost & Found Services
Lost & Found Services are provided for all students, employees and visitors to campus, to serve as a repository for lost items; as well as a recovery center to find lost/missing items. The goal of Lost & Found is to ensure all lost items are returned to their rightful owner in a timely and efficient manner.

Reporting a Lost Item

Claiming a Lost Item
If possible matches are found, the potential owner will be notified and asked to confirm the match in person.
- Owner completes release form & signs Disclaimer & Acknowledgement
- Item(s) will ONLY be released to the owner with a valid identification (ID required is either a state issued Driver’s License, state issued ID, or a passport).
Unclaimed Property
Found items are kept for 90 days from the date the item is received by Lost & Found Services. After 90 days, the property is processed to be sold through an online auction site for public agencies: https://www.publicsurplus.com/. Any property for which no bid is made is disposed of following the sale. Proceeds of the sale are placed in the Student Emergency Loan Fund, along with all other sale revenue.
