A Safe, Inclusive Campus

The Clery Act requires colleges and universities to report campus crime data, support victims of violence, and publicly outline the policies and procedures they have put into place to improve campus safety.

The California State University's Clery Act Policy mandates that each campus must comply with the requirements set forth in the Clery Act and California state law in order to provide a safe and secure learning and work environment for CSU students and employees.

Sacramento State is committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supporting space for all members of our campus community. Together, we will ensure that our campus community continues to be a safe place to learn, work, live, and visit.

Policies and Procedures

Sacramento State is committed to complying with all requirements of the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

The policies set forth guidelines and procedures intended to ensure the University's ongoing compliance with the Clery Act’s crime and fire reporting and disclosure obligations, as well as its obligation to make available to the campus community and the public our campus security and safety policy statements as prescribed by the law.
