Records Retention
The CSU's Records Retention and Disposition policy ensures campuses and the Chancellor's Office comply with legal and regulatory requirements and implement operational best practices. Each campus must ensure department(s) implement the records/information retention and disposition schedules for their specific area. This includes designating official custodians for each type of record. The retention and disposition of records/info must conform to standards set in the retention and disposition schedules set by the Chancellor's Office.
Additional information is available on the CSU Records Retention and Disposition website.
