Delegation of Authority and Reports To (DART)
The new DART application resides in CMS SA. The DART application has two inquiry screens for users to:
- Lookup DoA by employee or by department.
- Lookup manager-employee reporting relationships.
Position Reporting Relationships
In CMS HR exists a manager self-service tool for updating an employee's "reports to". This will allow certain personnel to update individual Reports To for their Department/College/Division.
For updating pool positions (student workers and lecturers, for instance) continue to use the BPA form "Reports To" Field Change.
College and Division analysts can process batch updates to their area’s “reports-to” through the CMS HR Manager Self Service portal.
The SACHR025 "Position Management Report" is available to help departments, colleges/program centers, and divisions review details on their active positions, including funding sources.
Expenditure Transfer Training
Expenditure Transfer Training Sessions
The Expenditure Transfer request form is submitted via OnBase.
In-Person training for OnBase Expenditure Transfers will resume shortly, and consists of a two-hour, hands-on, session that demonstrates the submission and the custom query search functionality. All employees who have Delegation of Authority (DOA) for Expenditure Transfers and need to submit expenditure transfer requests are strongly encouraged to attend the training.
A video training for Expenditure Transfers via On-Base is available here. You may also refer to the Expenditure Transfer 101 Powerpoint - Revised November 2022 for additional information.
