Eligible tenured faculty unit employees or librarians who have reached their retirement formula age (age 55, 60 or 62 depending on your date of hire) may participate in the Faculty Early Retirement Program (FERP). Faculty members wishing to participate in FERP will still need to go through the regular retirement process with the Benefits department. Participation in this program is limited to a maximum of 5 years. For more information and/or to submit your intent to participate in PRTB, download a copy of the "Request to Participate in PRTB" form found on our "Forms" page. Additional information can be found in Article 30 of the Unit 03 Faculty contract. The deadline to submit your intent to participate in PRTB is on or around March 1st for the following Academic Year.
