A curriculum vitae is essentially an academic resume that highlights all of your professional accomplishments. A vita is probably the first thing that a hiring committee will look at in your file. It will provide others with a general understanding of what you have done so far in your Psychology career. Here is a general listing of the types of things that are included in a vita. You may not have some of these at this early point in your career, and if so then simply leave out that section. There are numberous ways to go about formatting a vita, but the best tend to be those with clear headings and easily read entries under those headings.
