Homework
comes home nightly. Each child should have a homework assignment
sheet with the day's work written on
it. If there is no homework, the
sheet should say, "No homework."
It should not be blank!
Homework is due the very next day for your
child to get a Bear Buck. A typical
evening's homework will be a page of math practice, 5 minutes of flash
card practice, spelling words for the week, and independent
reading. Each child should have a daily reading log to record
their reading. I check this log every Friday.
There is no
homework on weekends. On Friday, each child will bring home a Friday
Folder containing the class
newsletter and the DPM bulletin, as well as
returned work from the week.
The empty folder must be
returned
on Monday for a Bear Buck.
