*You can keep a running total of your course grade by multiplying the grade on each assignment by the percentage weight and dividing by the total percent of the course weight covered to date.

EX: Class Presentation,    85 X .10 =  8.5 pts
              Glossary              90 X .20 = 18.0  pts
Overall grade would be 26.5 pts divided by 30 possible = 88% (B+)

Final Grades will be assigned as follows:

A   (94-100)     A- (90-93)        B+  (88-89)         B  (84-87)
B-  (80-83)      C+ (78-79)        C   (74-77)         C- (70-73)
D+  (68-69)      D  (64-67)        D-  (60-63)         F  <60

NOTE: I will not discuss any grades for any assignment on the day I hand it back to you, nor will I discuss individual grades in the classroom.  All such discussions will take place in my office AT LEAST one day after the grade has been received.  If you wish to contest a grade, write out your argument clearly, concisely and completely before coming to my office.
