In August of 2005 I, along with several friends, headed to Europe for some time in Greece and Italy.  In Greece, we made a brief stop in Athens before taking a ferry to Santorini.  Here are some pictures from that part of trip.

Entering the caldera of Santorini.  We stayed in a hotel in Oia, within the cluster of buildings atop the left portion of the cliff.  The area below, at sea level, had a great local restaurant with fresh, grilled octopus and calamari!
