Microsoft's Word Templates (Project Gallery in Mac version)

1. Locating templates:

For Macs: Go to Word and select "Project Gallery" from the "file" menu. (Macs can also go the the web address below.)

For PCs: go to http://office.microsoft.com/templates/ (notice that templates need specific programs and/or versions to be able to download)

2. Go through the different categories and templates.

3. Brainstorm ideas about how you might use some of these tools

• as a teacher (personal or professional use) (e.g. you make up a newsletter to send home to parents)
• with your students (e.g. your students work collaboratively on a newsletter about their study of leeches)
