Report of Information

Write a report about the Arabian Peninsula concentrating on the growth of the Islamic Empire. Your report will contain four parts covering facts about the geography, history, religion and culture of this important region. In addition, your report will include a title page, a map and a bibliography or works cited page. You will use the textbook and other classroom materials, the library and the internet for research.

I. Introduction

A. Start with an attention getter, an interesting statement
(hook), about the Arabian Peninsula.
B. Continue with background information which introduces
the reader to the Arabian Peninsula in general.
C. Write a thesis statement which informs the reader about what the rest of your report will cover.
