ETHN 170: Pan African Studies
Investigation into the subjective aspects of Pan African Studies (Black
Studies). Covers such topical areas as the struggle by Black Americans
for education, the genesis of the Black Studies movement, Black culture,
institutional change, etc. The very nature of the course permits the
coverage of a broad range of subject matter. Students are encouraged
to take specific courses offered by the Pan African Studies program
for more extensive investigation. 3 units.
