Develop a data base designed
for instructional purposes. Using a word processor, write
a description of the data base and how it would be used in instruction.
Use appropriate formatting in the word processing document.
The data base file should include:
enough records so that a user could do some sample search activities;
appropriate layouts for data;
a Layout saved as part of the data base file which selects a portion of the database with appropriate title and header in Browse mode. Print the Layout.
The description done in the word processor should include:
your name;
name of the data base;
description of the instructional purpose;
description of the content of the data base;
a description of strategies used in the lesson(s).
For maximum points also include:
sample questions that students might answer using each of the different data base search strategies; and
a description of the solution to one of the questions with the answer placed into the word processed document.
