Entering text and other cool stuff.
Just type something.
Use the toolbar and see if you can find out how to center, left or right
justify your text. What did you discover? __________________________________
Click on Normal (It's normally called the Style Menu) and explore that
for a while. There's more, so don't get carried away being Normal.
Make your text bigger or smaller. List the options you have for doing

Place the insert cursor inside the paragraph somewhere. It doesn't matter
where.

Adding Clip Art
Select Insert => Picture =>
Clip Art or From File and follow the directions.
If you choose "From File ", you'll need to have some files on hand
from another source. In the second session, I'll show you how to do this
using the Internet. On the other hand, if you already know how to "Save
an image as " in Netscape or Explorer, get right to it. Just be sure
to save the image in your own folder or directory.
Drawing all over your document.

You'll get a nicely organized set of drawing tools that beat the standard
Crayola box you used to get in your stocking at Christmas.
Play with it until you get into serious trouble. Then save your document.
Or not. You can also print your creations out if you want. It's not my
paper.

choice.
