Professional Experience ::

Arbitrator on the arbitration panels maintained by the American Arbitration Association, Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, National Mediation Board, Sacramento County Judicial Arbitration Committee, California State Mediation and Conciliation Service and California Public Employment Relations Board. Member, National Academy of Arbitrators. Licensed to practice law in California, the District of Columbia and Illinois (inactive). Author of many published articles on labor relations and labor law.

As an Arbitrator, since 1980, I have heard approximately 3,000 cases involving many different issues and parties. Extensive experience in interest arbitration, mediation and factfinding in both private and public sectors. Arbitration experience in the federal, state and local governments (including education, special districts, fire and law enforcement) and the following private industries:
