Extra Credit
Students can earn extra credit to supplement their grades using any or all of the means listed below. However make sure to prioritize required assignments, since these are worth five to ten times more than extra credit supplements.
Annotate Reading Guides for Reading Orientations
During the two reading orientations that begin each unit, students can receive extra credit for printing out and annotating the terms and excerpts found in the reading guide available for that unit. The most thoroughly annotated pages will include
- paraphrase of essential info about each term and passage
- specific pages, verse or paragraph numbers where this information is found
- arrows or other symbols showing links between terms
- special information from EGHT regarding terms marked with an asterisk
Each student will receive 3-10 points of extra credit, depending on how thoroughly the reading guide is annotated.
