Course Description

Catalog description:

Design of water and wastewater facilities: transmission, storage, and distribution of water; collection and removal of wastewater. Physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of water and wastewater. Design of treatment processes for water and wastewater. Use of computers to design water storage and distribution systems and to forecast impacts of alternative designs on oxygen resources in receiving waters. Development and evolution of water quality standards and design practices including ethical issues.

List prerequisite courses or other requirements.

ENGR 132 with a grade of C- or higher
Writing Proficiency Exam
